Alison Pill
Pill performed in the productions of her home country of Canada but it would take some time before she made her debut in market in the American market. Bruce Gray starred on an episode in the Canadian show Traders. Pill got the role of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which starred Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would have, Can, Shoulda" co-written by Naren Shankar. The episode also starred Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. After her role on Picard, Pill appeared in a major supporting role in the critically acclaimed sci-fi mini-series Devs (served by the digital VFX company Double Negative) produced by FX Productions for Hulu, as she did in Picard as well, she appeared in each episode, performing a similar role as the science-fiction character "Katie". The similarities with Picard didn't stop there as the major theme of the show was also made clear to focus on the preservation of consciousness inside an artificial creation like the one Data was preserved and revealed earlier that year in the Picard season 1 final episode "Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 2".
